You soar west.
You arrive on a rough-beaten dirt path that weaves slightly as it leads
to the looming presence of a Great Tree several leagues in the distance and
back into the forest. The view is one of the gentle green of the forest
floor, broken occasionally by copses of trees, and enclosed in low stone
wall that seems to still be under construction.
It's raining lightly, hot, and very, very windy.
Obvious exits: e forest
An exit back to the forest lies ahead of you.
A small wooden sign has been carved into the tree here.
A wall is slowly being constructed here of giant stones held together with vines.
A battle-scarred male giant is here with his arms crossed.
A battle-scarred male giant exclaims to you 'Prepare yourself warrior! You leave only through death or glory!'
A battle-scarred male giant exclaims to you 'Bring me a head, and I'll let you pass. Otherwise, die well!'
A battle-scarred male giant yells '<Name removed for this log> has entered the gladiatoral arena!'
Now don't get me wrong, it's a great tactic to put an NPC at the gates of your city so you know exactly who's walking in and out. It's like an early warning system.
What is stupid is that an imm decided to make an NPC that not only has a mystical 'detect name' spell, but also yells it out at the top of his lungs. And then on top of that, decides to make that NPC summonable.
Can this NPC be removed/made no-summon? It speaks Uxmaln, and Nashira was mentioning some new changes to Teron, so I imagine this thing's original home is there.
