Considered by some to be a cowardly skill, dirt kicking gives the clever
combatant a chance to blind his opponent by casting dirt into his eyes. The
blindness does not last long, but can provide an edge in combat. Dexterity
helps in hitting or avoiding a dirt kick. Of course, you need dirt to be
present in order to kick it into someone's eyes
.

What determins if dirt is present? I seem to be getting dirted (and being able to have my horse dirt someone else) in unusall places. Like inside where you cant bury anything.

I think there is dirt, any time you arent in or under water, or flying over nothing... perhaps a few other places but those are the big ones.

I told the immstaff that as a matter of RP my character always keeps a pouch of dirt.

As such, I've got the ability to dirt kick wherever I want.

You, however, would not be able to kick dirt over or under water, for example, or in any other place there is no ground (air-only areas).

emote open pouch
emote drop dirt
emote kick dirt in mid air
Dirt <target>

As if dirt kicking it'self wasn't hard enough in battle. And I'm not talking about me. I'm not able to dirt kick. I'm talking about NPCs and my horse of all things. Maybe a bug it can even do that, but it doesn't do it on command, just randomly when fighting.
