Although there is a BUG command in the game that takes precedence over this forum, sometimes asking here can explain non-bugs, or reveal a fault that the BUG command cannot clearly show.

This means that small bugs, especially those that can be described in a few lines of type, are far best reported in-game using either the "bug" command (for a coding issue) or the "typo" command (for other concerns).

Not all of the imms read the forums at all, and certainly not all of them read them on a routine basis, with the intent of searching through the Bug Forum for all of the picky little problems that might need to be fixed in areas that they oversee. That is, after all, what the in-game commands are for.

These commands (because of how the mud codes them for us) give us far more information than can often be conveyed via snippets pasted to the forums here, often allowing us to fix problems in much less time that it would otherwise take, as well.

I apologize for frustrations that may arise if bugs and other issues reported here may not be immediately fixed, but given that most of us rely more on the logs from the in-game commands to find those issues that need to be fixed, those are the far more reliable method for reporting most concerns.
