This occured last night when me and four others attacked a castle that had two Hammer and several 'allies' (Keepers and Talon) logged in to defend. Sadly, atleast one logged off and the other died. When we killed the guardian, this happened.

Is this a bug, or is this some 'ninja raid' fix?

Quote:
Seram utters the words, 'chill touch'.
The Guardian of Light turns blue and shivers.
The Guardian of Light twitches in pain as Seram touches it with his chilly hands!
Seram cleaves at the Guardian of Light's head, leaving a big scar across its face!
Seram cleaves at the Guardian of Light's head, leaving a big scar across its face!
The Guardian of Light is mortally wounded, and will die soon, if not aided.
A large shock from Zinfalas kills the Guardian of Light.
The Guardian of Light is DEAD!!
You hear the Guardian of Light's death cry.
The Guardian of Light's body dissolves into a shower of sparks.

A wight is incapacitated and will slowly die, if not aided.
You feel solid again.
The Belt and Scabbard of Pure Light vanishes in a flash of light.

Raylo utters the words, 'waowa gsgrul'.
Raylo unleashes a torrent of magma on the Guardian of Light, charring its flesh severely!
The Guardian of Light howls in agony as the magma clings to its body!

The Guardian of Light slams into Seram and sends him sprawling!
Seram's armor protects him from the physical affects of the Guardian of Light's bash.

EDIT: The area did not reset, which might have been a possibility. I was able to leave by the front door, which was not locked.

One possibility: Its been suggested that the relics have a limited timespan that does not reset based on being taken. So if the Hammer relic was taken, taken, and recovered, it might only have one tick left, which passed just after the guardian was killed. This might have subsequently forced the guardian to reload into the game to hold the new relic as it reloaded.

I bet your right about that. The relic was moved when the game reset, and then again when it was recaptured. It may very well have been that the timer on the object didn't reset.

Bleh. All those beautiful size tiny (yes, they were all size tiny) undead are....dead! My legion of spritely undead! SWATTED LIKE FLIES!

:(

I dont have a log of it but I was dead with cabal message.
Guardian sent out death message.
Guardian sent out relic has returned message.
Guardian sends out XXX has been killed message.
The only thing I can think of is that the belts been away from the guardian tick timer didnt reset and the time was up on you. The only problem why did the guardian repop ...
You guys got the sharp end of a long stick put somewhere not nice.

Just from hearing about it, I'd say your guess is correct. That behavior was definitely not intentional. So, bug.
