Songs of Healing never heals on the first song-tick. Perhaps moving into a new room resets it?

it wasn't the first song tick though. i'd been moving for a while, and noticed i wasn't healing myself. plus, i am moving into a new room after each lyric.

if i stay still for more than one lyric though, it'll start healing me...but not while i'm moving.

I have noticed the same thing. It used to be that it would actually take longer for you to sing the song but now I have noticed that it won't work at all.

This might happen for the same reason that if you're following somebody who is typing the directions before the delay from walk ends, you will end up concentrating on a spell until he stops. Like you have to concentrate on a spell for a couple seconds, you probably have to be singing continuously for something like two seconds before it starts to heal you, and it apparently doesn't count the walk lag time into the singing time.

Ah yes, this is sounding familiar now. This is not a bug. The song was specifically modified to work this way to prevent a bug in fact. In it's previous form, a bard could heal faster than the song was intended to do so by rapidly moving back and forth between rooms.

So is it possible to heal in this way while travelling as rat fink mentioned? Or is it modefied that you can't heal at all when travelling while singing?
