Is the will save recent? I remember dispel being strictly a level/resistance check.

When I had my 50+ will suit, I had people try to dispel me. No one could, so either it's will, or I was lucky after about 100 tries.

I am unsure if art applies to 'dispel magic', I don't see why not though if dispel magic is willpower check. However, when dispelling an elemental, I am positive it checks against the elemental's level/resistance, not the warlock's. Because the elementals have always been one dispel. Similarly charmed and/or dominated NPCs have always been one cancellation.

You get a saving throw when someone tries to dispel on you. Then if you fail, there is still a dispelling check against the level of each spell being affected. The dispelling check is not a save and art does not apply.

There is no saving throw for cancellation (the target WANTS you to do it) but there is still a dispelling check for each spell in effect.

Maybe I should revert my position..... That's what? Thirteen tries... and I have ten art to boot. I think that anything you aren't concentrating on shouldn't keep your willpower mods for dispelling. Elementals, animates, and other things. They are their own entities no longer dependant upon your mind, things you are concentrating on... Sanc, mirror image, etc. They should go against your willpower mods, and also anything from a wand/stave/scroll shouldn't have your willpower mods either, since your are not the originator of the invocation.

Fepel should just be severely punished for his constant leak of important IC info.

Code:
the charm/ele/control has the same will save as the controller/charmer for dispel magic.

Wrong IC info at least.

Are you sure about that? I've found that people who have a decent will suit I have problems dispelling their "helpers", but typically I use cancellation on charms/controls since it has no save.
