 Post subject: Cursed items vs. Thieves

Okay, cursed items, right? You can't let go of them, even if you wanted to, unless the curse is lifted off of them. Yet thieves can still steal the items out of your inventory (particularly an NPC that hides in the shadows of a certain city). I heard somewhere that if you had a cursed weapon, you couldn't be disarmed (true or no?). Anyway, my question is: is this in fact a bug, or just a feature, or just my imagination? I can send an edited log to whatever IMM wants to look it over, I just didn't want to indulge any IC info here.

If you cannot be disarmed with a cursed weapon then I do not think that you should have it be stolen from you. But if that is not the case then I would say that it is fine.

I think it's more of a no higher level items policy than something that actually needs practical reasoning. How exactly did thieves steal items from a master level merc logging out inside their hq next to their guardian? If they know an alternate way in I'd sure love to know it.

That was silly of me. Anyways, i believe the thieves in a certain city use a script as opposed to the actual skill. Salak would know best. I've had things stolen by them, then killed them literally right after they did it, and of course the item has already vanished to some storage room.
