I was saying the problem has been around since for ever but only recently fleeing on a mounted pet has become an issue because of the AI making them bash and trip.

I think the bigger issue is that you can disable a mount to prevent its rider from fleeing or wimpying out. If a mount is lagged or resting and you flee, you should jump off (potentially taking falling damage) and get the heck out of Dodge.

That a mount can spam bash its rider into death is ridiculous.

I should never see this happen:
Code:
[HP:  8%] [ME: 15%] [PE: 78%]

Someone utters the words, 'qkadagz dies'.
Someone's spell causes bloody wounds to open in your arms and legs!
You sure are BLEEDING!
You abandon your spell to flee!
Your ride doesn't want to move right now.
Your ride doesn't want to move right now.
Your ride doesn't want to move right now.
Your ride doesn't want to move right now.
Your ride doesn't want to move right now.
Your ride doesn't want to move right now.
Your ride doesn't want to move right now.
Your ride doesn't want to move right now.
You are blocked from escape!

Screw you, you stupid animal. I'm outta here.

I've put in an experimental fix for this next update.

This makes me a very, very happy panda.

Now I can get back to blaming my deaths on my own panic and lack of skill.
