I've seen several minoaturs around now. Thanks for adding them.

But I can't get the game to target them without typing the fill minotaur term. For example, "Look Min", "L mino", "L minot" does not work. Whats the deal? I CAN target them with with adjective easily enough, but I like targeting on race. Anyone else having such trouble? N_G

targeting by race has always been bugged as far as I know.

If the char is PC, have to type out the whole race.
If the char is NPC, can truncate.

Edit:
You can use truncated forms of the adj of any char but if you're targeting the race of the char, player-chars cannot be targeted with truncated forms of the race. I have used this information to target NPCs in a room full of player-chars.

The exception is helf.

Heh, not to burst your bubble but "helf" does not conform to the truncation rules.

'helf' and 'delf' are abbreviations, not truncations

Yeah, they added those options a few years ago (maybe even before that) because half-elf and deep-elf are just ridiculously long compared to other races and the "-" character made it even harder. You still cannot target any PC by their race unless you type out the full race name or the coded abbreviations.
