Odds are, if blindness is going to be useful against a certain enemy, they're a noob because they A) Don't have a fort save and B) Don't have any cure blindness herbs in their inventory, and tactics that are only useful against noobs aren't really that useful for anything but a laugh. This one time I blinded a deep-elf necro who attacked me while I was leveling in the circle of Holy and I got to watch him run around like an idiot because he couldn't go anywhere. That was funny and all, but if someone asks me whether they should use an OP sleep staff or an OP blindness staff in PvP, the answer is pretty obvious.
Unless you're not talking about PvP.
