Any pet that can rescue cannot be one-rounded, and don't complain that you don't have the CHA to pull off the order and still escape from lag, because that's a build decision.

This is the main reason I keep making all these suggestions. For NPCs to go away, ganking has to be less viable, but chasing down an enemy and killing them via your own skill has to become possible. Right now, that's not possible. The balance currently is delicate, and it will take a bit of a rework to fix.

Would something like the success of flee be proportional to the size of the parties fighting, helpful? Therefore the 7v1's are less common and when there is 7v7's or whatever, it becomes harder to actually flee?

If anything, logically it should be HARDER to run when you're in a 7v1. You have to clear 7 people instead of just one.

Only reason I said the other way is to discourage ganking like that. If it was 1v1 or even 2v1 it should be harder, but if a large group is coming, you are going to GTFO.

Changes which sacrifice any and all logical sense just for some "game balance" are bad. Next you'll be saying that if someone gets attacked 1v7 they should have their damage output, saves and number of attacks tripled just for game balance.

A) If someone alone attacks a group of 7, they deserve to die and not even have a chance to run away.

B) Never said anything like that nor won't, just that we want to encourage appropriately sized battles and when they are appropriately sized, neither of them should be able to flee as easily.
