I have not been able to successfully summon a store bought pet since I could summon. Yes, I know to name them. I've tried several different pets and names I've used before with pets I've had with other characters. Anyone know what's going on?

Pretty sure this feature was removed a long time ago.

If that's the case, are you even able to gate to your pet? Or, was that taken also?

Definitely can't gate to them. I thought summoning was going to come back, but something about one of the changes totally disabled that too.

Probably because jackasses that couldn't actually PvP decided to be cute and sit in random wilderness squares just spam summoning pets away from characters played by people they didn't like but couldn't actually kill.

It would be easy, I think, to code summon to work with named pets. Or at least have summon automatically succeed when you summon your own pet.
