Okay, I managed to do something harebrained, and don't know how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

Now, alias 'k atyrr' will result in a "no such alias" message

And alias k atyrr will create a new alias, and Alias k will also result in "no such alias". Is there a way to wipe ALL my aliases, or get rid of that one in specific?

I always use alias k look &1 as the first thing of any char, before even going through the creation hall questions. And aliases are only the first word, the rest is not part of the command part of the alias.

"Alias k" should delete the alias.

Edit: Just tested it.

DA, that's not true in this case. The alias IS actually two words. When I made the alias, I used alias 'k atyrr' 'blah'.
A simple "alias k" won't get rid of that, because it treats the alias handle as 'k atyrr', and not 'k'.

You could make aliases with 2 words in SK? I learn something every day.

Still, what is the point of such an alias in the 20 that SK offers you? Set strange aliases to your client, or trigger the output of certain commands.

Well, I got the impression that you're not supposed to have two-word aliases. You can however, make them. The problem, is getting rid of them once they've accidentally been made :/

Has anyone had an issue with aliases deleting?

I have had an alias that no matter its name, its deleted. I would set it up, three parts to it, the middle part would have color, the semi-colons were there, and it worked. When I would log out and return, it was gone.

I don't use zmud aliases, I use only the 20 alloted in game, and it was purely for RP.

Any thoughts or ideas as to why this alias is being deleted when the characters logs?

That's a bit odd. And you check it before you log out to make sure it's still there? And you didn't get some odd 'Line too long' when you entered the alias? And were you using the alias actively when you made it before you logged out? (Just eliminating all the possibilities here) Failing these things, log in, and log something like this:
alias
alias test emote nods her head. ; emote nods at her $7$Iimaginary friend$A. ; say Indeed.
alias
test
quit
[reconnect]
test
alias

Email the thing to Dulrik if you get a successful bug log.
Then D will have something he can sit and try and reproduce and tinker with.

I have done really complex aliases when brewing with Nalia.

Such as:

alias heal drop all; get flask bag; hold flask; brew 'heal'; rem heal; put heal cloak; get flask bag; hold flask; brew 'heal'; rem heal; put heal cloak; get flask bag; hold flask; brew 'word of recall'; rem word; put word cloak; get all; sleep

That one was pretty long and what it was and it would work and it would not delete.

But with this new one, I get it set up in the game. I used it just fine in the game, and then when I log out it is there. When I come back, it is gone.

I can write it up again, test it, and log out, come back, and see if it is gone.
