So Faerti final strikes an inn of eleven people, taking out a sizeable portion of loot, and within about thirty minutes the MUD crashes, sending all the twinks scattering to gather up loot.

This seriously pisses me off. Something's rotten here and needs to be addressed.

Somebody told me that the mud crashes when the idea command is used, perhaps this is the culprit?

(BTW, if this isn't correct, sorry)

I agree with you 101% Edoras.

The crash came at a time too convenient for it to be unintentional.

We have never been able to confirm that the idea command has anything to do with a crash. It seemed more likely that something else caused those crashes, perhaps the HQ guards bug, which has since been fixed. But if you do consistently experience crashes while using idea (or bug or typo), please send me the exact string you typed along with the name of the character that you were using.

And a bit more on topic about this final strike situation, what was the date and time of the final strike and crash you are referring to here? There hasn't been a crash today.

Everybody aside from Orius had crappy eq there, afaik.

Definitely not, OMG FS THEM AND CRASH THE MUD levels of loot.

Around 11PM (Forum time) last night.

The FS happened somewhere around 6:30 PST. Yesterday.

Uh, yeah. I wasn't on when it happened, and I didn't log onto the game again until after the every other day reboot had happened.
