That is one of the purposes of death shroud. It may depend what happened prior to the start of the log that you have posted here. Did the cadaver attack you before casting death shroud? The cadaver walked away after killing you, which means that he was tracking you. Did he attack, you flee and then cast death shroud? If you're being tracked by an undead you've already been in combat with, I think they can/will disregard the shroud at that point. If not that, I don't know why he would be flagged to assist an imp... undead typically assist other undead, but not demons/devils (which is the race that the imp was originally designed as), etc.
