One question I have is... were you the only person attacking Kysha at the time she was rescued by Echar, or was there more than one attacker on her? In looking at the code, I see that might make a difference...

Overall, Kysha looks pretty hurt.

My bear was also attacking Kysha when she got rescued by Echar.

Btw, I also hit this same problem when I was fighting wraiths in the CoH. Despite the fact that I was front row with them and in melee, I couldn't trip them because of intimidation. I also had my bear fighting them in that circumstance.

It's how intimidate works. 1 of the 3 wraiths had you intimidated, and said wraith was not in melee. So intimidate stayed, and you couldn't do a single thing in said wraith's group. No bash, no dirt, no casting spells, no nothing.

Uh. That doesn't make any sense to me. I'm pretty sure i've been intimidated before by a hellion in a group and then have the group (not that hellion) attack me, and i've been able to issue commands against the person directly in melee with me.

That's how intimidate works. Which I still find a way too easy to bypass skill to be good against a good enemy. It has been like that for years.

A similar occurence happens when you aren't in a group and you join in on a fight. The second person who joins can't trip, but I suppose that part is a bit of a feature.

ex.
BOB(not in a group) is fighting JOE
STEVE(not in a group) walks in and sees poor BOB
STEVE types in "kill JOE"
STEVE, until BOB dies, cannot trip JOE.

If the response you get there is "Someone is in your way." then that's not a bug. There code is specifically written to address that situation.

At any rate, I believe I have fixed the bug this thread is about for next update, so I'm going to lock it now.
