So last night I went to jail as Kemilla. I didn't type any commands at all untill after Murdock also got sent to jail and tried to kill me. He attacked me and I punched his face and managed to kill him while AFK.

Maybe the shackle thing should trigger when you get sent to jail and not on the first command?

OVT, I assume there's a joke in there somewhere? Kemilla managed to punch Murdock to death???

I wonder if 'kill necro' causes necro to go to 'position fighting' while the killer gets 'you're shackled'.

Necro then punches someone who can't fight back. That's how I read what happened.

It's pretty much what happened.

Edit: I was the AFK one. Murdock probably assumed I have a way larger sentence than I do. I've served all my time in the places I'm banished, cepting one. Thus, I didn't do anything at all, but get attacked and managed to kill the attacked. I assumed it was a bug due to the intention of the code.

After a certain amount of jail time, it should just be a day or two long death sentance.

Why in gods name would any country keep you alive after murdering enough city guardsmen to rack up a 60 day sentance. It makes no sense from an IC perspective and it turns what should be an IC punishment, into an OOC punishment as it pretty much urges whoever is in jail to find something else to do.

Not something you really want to do in a game.

I think if you have committed 5-8 low murders, it should be a death sentence after 5 IC days (semi-arbitrary).

Also, for all other crimes, it should never last longer than 10-15 IC days.

If you get jailed for committing 50 high-murders, I want your char to rot. Besides the fact if you're capable of committing 50 high-murders and get reported for them all before you ever go to jail.... If you get jailed, you did something wrong to finally fall.
