Is it cheating the "RP" of being taunted to recite / zap / cast an ethereal?
You are, after all, incredibly pissed off.

Taunt puts you in such a rage towards that person that while the skill is still in effect, you want nothing more than to bash that person's head in. You cannot do anything, including wording away.

From the most common PoV, yeah. But honestly, if that option wasn't open, it would be way too easy to get taunt kills on casters/rogues.

I can easily justify it as acting against your "Bad temper" because you know what's best for you.

But if I was thinking about what was best for me, I'd just quaff a word.
Which I can't.

Actually, the point of Taunt is to blur your perception and [REDACTED] you off to the point to where you don't care about your own well being, you wanna rip the @#$#'s face off and spit on it's remains. After you see the message 'Charges you in a fury" well, the keyword there is FURY. In other words, you're not going to be strategically watching your wounds saying to yourself 'Okay. I need to use this NOW!"

Instead, you're going to kill the person or die trying..

As far as charm. Yeah. self explanatory. You're too obsessed with the master to worry about your own well being unless it directly involves them trying to kill you. Then I could see where self preservation instincts would kick in. Other than that..Meh @ crap RP.

Word of recall is a spell.

After you quaff the vial, you should be teleported.

Taunt should have no way of stopping the -spell- from working, just you from quaffing the vial.

Charm MIGHT have a way to stop the spell, since its a spell itself.

Justify it however you want, you're not getting away while taunted.

The bug is still a bug and there is no reason not to fix it. If you're not allowed to quaff the vials then the vials shouldn't disappear. This is the bug forum not the RP quality control board.

Consider it a punishment for trying to break RP.

you dont always notice youve been taunted/charmed right away you know.
