The same thing happens when you are ethereal. You cant be caught in it, so you automatically cut yourself free.


If that's true then that would make the first log make sense a little. If pets are flying, making them immune to snares, and the game is printing the pets immunity to the screen with the 'you cut yourself free' message, then the character that triggered the snare by walking into it should remain snared.

If thats the case then the only real issue is that when a pet is immune to a snare it shouldn't print a message to you saying that you cut yourself free. It should say the pet cut themselves free or nothing at all.
