I wouldn't say that.

It's because you're dumb enough to get caught that you get the short end. I've played both darkies and lighties and, while I agree that the layout of the jails should be made equal, I'm of the mind that there shouldn't be any changes otherwise to the law system.

Just because you're a darkie doesn't mean you're going to commit more crimes, thus buying yourself more time in jail. There are people of any given aura that commit a great number of crimes, but they're smart enough to get away with it or wriggle out of it, or just damn good at building their characters to be brawny enough to kill all the witnesses before they report.

Crimes don't equal jail time. It's your lack political savvy or brute strength.

But because I am a darkie wouldn't I want my laws to be far worse and more strict?

I agree, the north's current jail does need some guards for their magistrate, it's really rediculously easy. And I'm saying this as one of the lighties that was in that log, trying to break my buddy out of jail.

However, the amount of rooms one has to travel from the nearest gate target to the judge should be considered- bounty hunters have always been just as big of a problem to jailbreaks as the jail's stationary guards.

As in anyone can go next to the judge and be your gate target?

Finding a PC who isn't outlawed where you want to go, but is willing to help you go there, and waiting for them to position themselves without being spotted and obviously PKed by your enemies is not an easy thing.

I swear, you're both easier on me when I'm just taking cheap, low blows at you than when I'm advocating that you get fair treatment from the players and coders.

I do the same thing to get people out of Exile.

Grow some balls already.

It is the easiest thing ever, if you don't go afk for 30 mins while you are being jail-breaked. Or if you actually try to orchestrate a jail-break. Sitting in jail going "omg this is so unfair" while being a jack-ass to your fellow(/allied) players doesn't get your far.
