Not much of a bug, but after last update to show the message, perhaps it should check not to show it while someone is stunned/bleeding to death/whatever.

For example...
Code:
A lithe female human council-guard's blast of acid sprays a goblin warrior, sizzling and burning its skin!
A goblin warrior is stunned, but will probably recover.
A beaded leather wristband is etched by streams of acid!
6 silver coins fumes and dissolves!

[HP: 98%] [ME: 52%] [PE:100%] R: The Moot's Gates
>
A goblin warrior regains its footing.

[HP: 98%] [ME: 52%] [PE:100%] R: The Moot's Gates

As you can see from the HP and ME no tick passed, yet the stunned goblin warrior regained its footing. :P

retreat dies if this change stays the same. It is now only usable for tiny group vs group battle, or soloers checking out rifts.

Alright, my two cents

I liked the lag more for one reason mainly, when in the middle of a battle I knew I would loose I typed flee (twice or more if panicked) it would stack and wait there until the lag was gone, and I could flee. Now I have to spam-flee...

Otherwise I find the change more realistic perhaps.

My idea, if the fight is over make regaining of footing quicker.
It is harder to stand back up when you are trying to defend yourself with the shield and waving yuor sword around, but if the fight is over, you could just dust off and stand up easily (well... Not going into the state of your body, or if something is severed from it).

Then again if your leader calls retreat and you are face down, you could gather extra strength and run/tumble/crawl out of it, perhaps the opponent could get extra hit or two (round) while you stand up to retreat?

retreat = your leader shouts for the guy standing behind prone fellow to pick him up, and generally organizes a way for everyone to get out safely.

Bash/trip are now part of the fast effect system and are not dependent on ticks anymore. So, not a bug DA.

I wasn't saying it is a bug. I was saying it's an unconciouss person who regained its footing.

Not a bug, but a typo more or less. Perhaps it just shouldn't appear on stunned/incapitated persons. They are too busy being unconciouss/dying to bother to regain their footing. :P

I mentioned it a couple times. It didn't get a response. I'm sure its got to do with the order things happen when you are stunned. Obviously this affect should disappear when you're stunned or killed.
