tanso steel is probably just a fantasy alternate of "toledo" steel.

Since my post was removed ( :roll: ) I will go ahead and restate that I think there is more than sufficient cause for this to be changed. If for nothing else than preserving the truth of history, because I know a lot of people get their sword and armour knowledge from games like this.

If people can get over the belt change so quickly, they can easily adapt to a new name for a weapon type.

It's really not that important. If D wants to switch a name around a bit, I doubt anyone'll whine one we've all changed our weapon-switching aliases a wee bit.

Tanso is japanese for 'steel'. It's essentially folded steel, similar in technique to certain legendary katanas and the like.
