A Temple of Zavijah
As you step through the large mahogany doors the sight of this temple
overwhelms the senses. The floors and walls composed of the same granite
blocks visible from outside, and are polished to create a truly glorious
sight. Supporting the decorative plafond are six elegant columns in two
rows parallel through the chamber. A long carpet leads its way from the
door and up a set of stairs in the center of the towering columns, to a
raised dais where the altar of blue veined marble is securely set into the
stone foundation. Each wall of the temple has a plaque engraved with
articles of significance to the faith of Zavijah. The back wall of the
temple displays teachings of the faith, while the wall to the right has an
engraved copy of the agreement with the Empire of the Bright Star over the
construction of this temple, and the left wall is adorned with many aspects
of the history of the faith.
