Does that happen everytime you cast cure deafness, or did your deafness just happen to end when you were about to cast the spell?

Happens everytime and no.

It's the classic target/caster combo. You cast a spell, get a successful roll, and get the "You can hear again" message. If you casted upon Bob, you'd see "Bob can hear again". Other people in the room will get the "Yourname can hear again" message. Or that's how it probably should be. The "Your hearing returns" message is a by-product of yourself being the target. If you had cast upon Bob, he would have been the only one to get that message, but not the "You can hear again" message. If not, then this is an aesthetic bug in the spell itself.

Same with the cure disease episode. The first is the room echo, the second is limited to the target.

As for sneak and vis, "VIS" negates a series of affects: invis, hide, disguise, camoflague and sneak. Of those, only sneak and disguise have timer limits on them, with accompanying messages. I'm assuming that sneak is set up so that whenever the timer reaches zero -- which is the same as saying the party is no longer affected -- the message occurs. VIS was more than likely an afterthought for ease-of-use, and thus not a large concern.

All very minor, all very much aesthetic.

A GM sorcs haste has the same duration as a fatigue. Perhaps yours just let off as a previous fatigue did?

Look at the first affects list do you see fatigue there? No.
When haste/gstr wear off when you don't already have fatigue it gives you the message you feal less fatigues when it should say you feel fatigued.

If you would study the first affect list more closely, I wasn't fatigued to begin with.
