That's too instinctive for you to try to teach.

I assume that's because of this:

You are standing.
You are over one-third of the way to the next level.
You have played 464 hour(s) so far.

Although, if it is, it is more than a bit annoying that I and my student are penalized because I've already hit GM.

Also, while I'm on the topic, could "train level" be field-enabled? That way, we can take the newbs out to some training grounds, and help them level, and then train them while out there. Later, we return to the inn and brush up on skills when they actually change status.

I also got one of those messages. I was standing in the training area of Nerina, and it didn't work, so I went to the inn and tried again. Still no luck. So i sent the newb over to the level trainer and sent up a pray, with no response(Im not saying anything about the imms as it was late and they might have been building and I understand that). Then I saw this post.

Edit: I also am GM and have reached the level cap(with no enlights  ) I believe it is the "You have a long way to go." tick.

At mentor status I can't train people levels. I get the same message when I didn't in the past.

A minor code change was done so that skills that were innate couldn't be taught by mentors. Looks like training levels has been affected - should be a fairly quick fix by Dulrik when he has some time.

Im assuming the instinctive message is because it is a skill you get as a race bonus. For instance griffons: Innate - self defense(mastered) endurance(mastered) and I could be mistaken but maybe you cant teach things you never had to learn.

You also have to keep in mind that only I believe apprentice spells/ skills and LOWER for the person your training spell/skill set can be taught. At GM you can still mentor someone, you must be mentor or above in order to teach someone however. Your GM status and your exp extra bonus has nothing to do with it. As far as training levels go you can only train a person to JMAN or below. Which means if your trying to teach a vet level, it isnt going to happen.

Things to keep in mind, even if a certain spell/skill for you is initiate dosent mean it is for the person training it if they are a different class. ALSO you must have the spell/skill at superb or better.
