Maybe this has already been brought up or addressed, but this seems very strange:

Seems that while immune to the damage of poison, they are still susceptable to the strength-sapping portion of this affect. Is this a feature, not a bug(tm)?

Normal resistance is back to "normal" as of last reboot I believe. Griffons no longer get the plague on the griffon island any more. If it is still happening it is a bug or a feature.
