OK, this is an instance but I have seen things like this happen a lot lately. Code: > A diamond battle arrow streaks into you from the south! You yell 'Help! I am being attacked by someone!' Destrivai's ambush injures you. You run southwest. A Valley In the middle of this valley sits a comfortable, well build ?ssss cottage. The windows are smokey and the door stands open. A few sv*vs sheds line the walls of this valley and a large well is located a sssss bit away from the cabin. It's snowing, well past freezing, and windy. Obvious exits: n e s w nw ne sw se (Invis) An enslaved guardian devil stands behind its master. An old male human is standing here, dressed in furs. A wraith soars in from northeast. A wraith soars in from northeast. A zombie limps in from northeast. Run away! Run away! A diamond battle arrow streaks into you from the east! Destrivai pierces at your chest, causing a gaping wound! A diamond battle arrow streaks into you from the east! Destrivai pierces your forehead, causing a small gash. A diamond battle arrow streaks into you from the east! Destrivai pierces at your chest, ripping open your stomach! After lots of running from even more arrows... Code: >
outlaw memory Thinking back, you remember witnessing the following crimes... [HP: 57%] [ME: 7%] [PE: 8%] R: The Dragon Sea First of all, I don't remember the attempted murder/mugging/whatever. And let's say that because he was camoed when he attacked I didn't see it coming. But then I ran at some NPCs and he was still shooting me arrows(and I could see his name), shouldn't I(and perhaps the NPCs) be able to report him for his crime? |

Did you check the legend 2 map to see if any of those rooms aren't flagged for the right country? |

They are just SE from Krychire, they certainly are in red color. Perhaps these rooms might be no law which is a bug. |

You didn't actually see who attacked you when the initial blow was landed, if you had you would have yelled the name and you would've been able to report it. Atleast that's my thought on it. |

I think that sounds reasonable answer to the bug in question. Which isn't a bug at all if its the cause because if you cannot see the attacker you cannot report him. Feature! |

If you read what I wrote, you can see him after the first arrow, so can the NPCs. Unless you can melee attack someone invinsible, he can flee after a few rounds and still not been able to report you. More like a bug to me than a feature. |

Didn't dulrik change the code that shoot arrows is considered meelee now. So you don't get outlawed extra for ever arrow shot. Him being unseen by you at first and then shooting the next volleys of arrows at you perhaps was still considered invisible from the first attack in a series. That said its looks like its a bit of both and Dulrik would have to fine tune that code to fix the error. |
