I belive I have found a bug with the bounty NPCs. It would seem that they are able to go through rifts and attack people in other kingdoms. Since they are law NPCs, shouldn't their duties require them to leave the new kingdom they are in and return to the kingdom they left instead of engaging people in that new kingdom?

To put this in perspective myself and some other M.C were running around Taslamar looking for Enemies and a bunch of Templars started chasing us. So I figured I'd be a smart [REDACTED] and retreat through the rift we made to the tas stones. Guess what? They came through the rift and attacked us. No other law NPCs do that that I know of. I think it's a bug.

Salak has brought this up before. The bounty NPCs, so far as i can tell, will chase you an infinite distance as long as they have PE and are able to pass (over mountains and water tend to screw them up). I've retreated at low hp through rifts from the northern wastes into taslamar and over to uxmal, and still end up fighting them. They're damn persistent.

However, if they do end up fighting you, i believe they only stun you and walk off since they can't jail you when you're not in their country.

It's not a bug, it's a "feature".

Oh, a feature? Well if this B.S feature is a part of tribunals then I would expect that any tribunal, Like the M.C, that is at a state of cabal diplomacy war with any kingdom would have it's law NPCs attack any law NPC of the kingdom that they are at war with on sight. Just like a character who is banished, exactly like that. Treat the bounty NPCs as if they are banished characters.

I have brought this up in more detail in the M.C Forum but I think it's safe to generalize here and say if any tribunal said to their guards; kill any legionaire you see on our soil, we are at war, they would attack legionaires. That is my response to this "feature." Law NPCs should attack enemy "troops" on their soil during war.

Totally in agreement, here.
The other day I and another player came across an Empire and a Taslamar law NPC just chilling together in the middle of a lake[!?] Kind of stretches the bounds of credibility just a little bit.

Just fly over mountains, they'll kill themselves from falling damage...

Above post: they were off duty, let the men talk their differences in a match of marco polo, jeez, why must everything end in violence...

Problem I could see if you flag one tribunal's bounty NPCs as criminals then when you flee into someone else's land then the NPCs chasing you summon the ones from the kingdom you just ran into, draining funds to kill NPCs not players.

NPCs never attack each other unless there are players involved. We don't have CPU cycles to waste having NPCs fighting each other. To do so would just cause more game lag. If you happen to have seen any NPCs attacking each other without player involvement, I'd request that you report that as a bug.

The gnomes in the pyramid of Ch'zzrym attack and kill each other. I didn't know that it wasn't supposed to be. Next time I am there, I'll bug it.

Some NPCs fight each other only when PCs are around. The coliseum in the empire, for instance.

Seawatch as another, but, yes, these only occur when there is a PC present.
