Logged in today and noticed about six or seven IC years were added onto my character from the age I saw yesterday. Anyone else notice an age difference with their characters?

Ilyana noticed a while back that the age counter was off as she tracks her characters regularly and wondered why it was two years younger. Dulrik said that the change was small but noticible after a character was many years of age.

I assume on this last PAR bounce of the board the code was updated, so everyone probably aged a few years.

Heh, yea, I just aged four years since last night.

I aged from 158 to 173 overnight, as a sprite. Dulrik, I'll PM you about this so you can try to fix please so I don't die way ahead of schedule.

I'll confirm that this isn't a bug, it's a bug fix. Your age should now match the number of years that have passed according to the game calendar.

Technically you're age dying "on schedule." Originally, you would only have lived longer because of a bug in the system. While I can understand that this is very unfortunate and could cause a good deal of frustration this is the way it was always supposed to be. The only annoying thing i would find about it is if you had a plan in action that can no longer be completed because you are dying earlier than you thought you would. if it's simply that you have less time to play in general, i don't really think that there's a good reason to try and get your age "fixed."

The "age fix" has pushed my char over the first age tick. I'm not sure that my stats are matching that now. Any way to check?
