Not a bug. The process is. Room --> Inven. I also have problems with this for example if you are wearing container X, and there is the same one in your inventory or in the room. You can't get things from the one you are wearing.

get all robe gets you the one in your inventory of the room, while get all 2.robe yields, There is only 1 robe here!

It's all about targetting. And remember that look checks your equipment, then room, then room, so even if look gauntlet shows you the one you want, c shr gauntlet may be a different one.
