Sounds like some freak internet error. You probably received an IP packet that was supposed to be going to someone else. There's no point in posting this to the forum, because it really has nothing to do with the game.

Reminds me of a time I was at a college computer lab, logged into SK. I entered some command...I don't really remember, but I must've hit a combination that accidentally pasted some students homework into the window. I lost my connection from the massive spam generated. The homework was some business plan for a massage therapist, it is one of the things that led to my purchasing a laptop to use at work to play SK.

Sounds like you almost certainly did a paste into your telnet screen then.
