The little cottage is much too small to be a suitable home for a human or elf, but more befitting a halfling or gnome. The cottage is surrounded on all sides by tiny bulbed flowers in every color of the rainbow. It's raining lightly, warm, and very windy. The floor is covered in straw mats and, judging by the softness, it is padded with more straw beneath. The cottage is quite small, and is cleary home to someone much smaller than a human. Small plants and flowers grow in pots around the room. A mattress, covered in soft blankets, sits in the southeastern corner of the room. Obvious exits: door The severed hand of me is here. A jade ring has been abandoned here. The corpse of a raven-haired female halfling is lying here. A door leads into the garden outside. A heavy stone trunk sits here against the wall. He likely punched you, and killed you. You don't see the last killing blow since you are too busy dieing and being killed. And in this case it was only one punch and he obviously hit the right mirror image. 
Conclusion: not a bug, just horrible luck. |

He appears to have lost his spells only AFTER dying which is normal. Were it a no magic room he would lose them upon entering, right before or under the room desc. |

it is not a no magic room, but what I am saying is that despite that lathron could do a 9% damage with one punch and could avoid my mirror immage I should see that I get punced to death instead I see entering a room and dieing. |

Even if he was too busy dying to get the "Prince Lathron punches.." message, he should've still gotten the "Your arm has been SEVERED!". Unless, of course, he has nospam on for deflections, and somehow this dudes deflection was the killing blow. |

I am pretty sure he waltz in, Lathron punched the correct mirror image; killing him and then his body poped with a limb. It wasn't a severed limb before the kill. Its like killing a centaur and severing a tail when it dies. |

let me make it even more clear, I walk in, try to charm, fail, get attacked, flee walk in again,get attacked, try to charm again, get my arm punched off go invis go Mirror immaged walk in and die without a message |

he had 9% hp before entering and after he saw the limb. Lathron wasnt charmed so likely he had lost the charm earlier and had his limb severed. Then fled, went invis and mirror to try and recharm or perhaps the first failed attempt caused the limb. It wasnt popped afetr his death. And the killing blow being not seen by the dier explains it. Dont think theres anything else to discuss. Edit- just noticed the corpse, is it the same persons? The limb could have been from their first death. Which would be odd if Lathron was still agro. |

I really can't see the bug. I agree with Joseph, you probably lost your arm in a previous attempt -- No bug there. Spells wear off after you die -- No bug there. Face it, you were beat down. 
From what I see, the real bug is just the hit message - or lack of the hit message. Outside of that, there is nothing. Probably just a broken script. sleeper |
