Do items with (flaming) count in place of something that glows? There's no glowing tag on it, so I assumed I'd be safe. Logged in today to find that I couldn't camo. Nothing I'm wearing glows, by the way, and I'm not wearing anything that's invis. |

Remove your gear one piece at a time and try. |

Been there, done that. Except the one piece I can't, which is cursed. Doesn't have a glowing tag, but it's shortdesc has (flaming) in it. Which is why I asked. Also, the (flaming) doesn't appear to be a tag, but an actual part of the shortdesc. |

Identify the object, Goldylocks. You will see that said object isn't a treasure but a light. |

And if you removed all BUT that, don't you think that is the problem? And here I thought you knew something about this game. sleeper |

scouts can't identify - and how's someone supposed to identify if it's on me? bah. And while I did figure it's the problem, I didn't know why it SHOULD be a problem. Most lights HAVE a glowing tag. |

Do any of you think camo should be listed as an affect so you know if your actually camo'd or not? Is hide listed as an affect? |

Neither are listed as an affect, nor is sneak. |

*tacks on to Ilae's post* Because you don't know if it's working or not. You may have your butt sticking out from behind a tree trunk and not realize it. |

yes, but you do know when you're 'trying' to sneak or hide, or camo. There's a difference between brisk normal walks, and sneaky careful ones. Shouldnt you be aware you're 'trying' to hide/sneak/camo ? |
