In the flap near the circles-
Code:
A burly male centaur stares appraisingly at you.
A burly male centaur asks to you 'Do you have something for me?'
You say 'Yes.'
> take skin [box]
You get the skin of a Hostia Chieftain from a [shiny metal box].
A burly male centaur says to you 'Well, *givf* it to me, then.'
> give skin burl
You give the skin of a Hostia Chieftain to a burly male centaur.

Okay, I gave the man his skin, and yet he says the same thing when I reenter, asking if I have something for him.
Is something bugged, or is it just me?

[/code]

Didn't work for me either until an IMM showed up and did something.

If you haven't already, typo log this at that spot. I'll take a look at it.

Didn't work for me either, I've stopped trying that quest because I consider it totally broken. Wertrew, that centaur is in the flap east of the tribal grounds area if that helps you at all.

I've never been able to get that quest to work on any char.

Wow. Are there are other such quests that never work that people have given up on?

After you raised the experience needed for master+ lvls and left the quest XP reward the same, doing the quests in not worth the trouble anyway.

I could lvl from 47 to GM with quests, now all quests put together (new ones included) give you half that amount of XP.

There are difficult quests like the ki-Rin horn, Shelys and Sage that only give you one tick of experience now. Not worth it.

I totally share this sentiment. I can understand due to OOC consideration (of players using OOC knowledge) to complete quests can make certain quests too easy, and too rewarding, but in balance of things, I feel the rewards have been nurfed too much.

There are no associated renowns in SK for completing quests, and many quests give such tiny coins and experience rewards. The only quests/quest areas really worth visiting are left with Pilgrimiage, Craeftilin and D'Astae. Though new players aren't familiar with D'Astae, at least Pilgrimage forces Craeftilin and encourages players to explore 'the world'.

To me, quests that require puzzle/riddle solving, a little group combat, some exploration, and with the end result of something worthwhile = fun.

I agree, now I just have to ToM to GM with a fighter. Casters can always just spam.

Burly centaur quest should be fixed. I rebuilt much of the quest scripts from the ground up.

Please typo log it if there are any problems.
