I was contacted by a newbie scout and he wanted to learn how to use a bow and dodge, I'm a mercenary and the bow skill is listed as being a veteran skill for me, yet when I typed teach newbie bow 0 it let me teach it to him, is this a bug or is it meant to do this cause the scout can learn it at amateur? The limits of what you can teach are set by the level of the skill for the student not the teacher, so this is no error, just the way the system works. That is why I always ask the student what they wish to learn and tell them I will teach them whatever I can when their profession is different from my own. |
