I reported this as a bug in-game, but I want to make sure it was calrified here. Some emotes that npc's use can reach across several rooms. For example, if you run past the gnomes in lower Craeftillin, they'll "look you over" from three or four rooms away. |

Sometimes the REchos just delay or lag, so that you see them after you've left the room, such as in the Meissite temple. Not sure if thats a same or different animal, though. |

Sabrina, the secretary of state in the Empire does the same thing, you can walk in her office, walk out and go around and you'll see her look up from the desk etc. |

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT make them like the greeting NPCs in Nerina, that are willing to actually lag YOU in order to say their stupid greeting. On the contrary, it would be more preferable if you got the echo with a lag like in Craeftilin. The ideal solution would be if you oculd get this in time, with no lag at all, though. |

It's because it is room echoes or player echoes instead of actual emotes - At least I think |

There is a very tiny delay in enter-type scripts firing. If a player is fast enough, they'll pass the NPC firing the script. And if there is a pecho/recho set up within the script, it'll fire after the player's already gone. There are a few ways to fix this, depending on the script. If you just typo this at that location, I can fix it with little bother. Meissa priestess, for example, should be fixed. |

Ah. I'd always assumed there was no way around it. I'll log it (and any others) when I get a chance. |
