Been mentioned before. That "follows you" is more of an emote, if I remember correctly. |

Except he really follows you. |

Think of it this way: If he were a PC, he'd be able to follow you into the room that quickly anyway. |

Except PCs can't follow you with manual movement while casting. And as for the wary half-elf... if you disable auto follow after he follows you it stops him. |

I think this bug relates specifically to this NPC. What I was really hoping was going to be addressed in this thread was the follow bug concerned w/ Inner Guardians. Anyone grouped with someone who cabal gates should not be attacked by the inner guardian when they follow said cabal member through a cabal gate or to the guardian in general. Plz fix this so random ownings don't occur when independent/tribunal characters try to assist a cabal in need. QQ Refer to instant_karna's post here: http://www.mrperson13.com/viewtopic.php?t=950 Sorry for the high-jack. |

Regarding high jack: That's just how it's going to work for the time being. If you want to bring in defenders through a cabal gate and not have them get owned, they need to be a member of a faction with which you have an alliance. |

I care more about independent characters who want to help out a cabal under siege than allied/truce organizations helping. This basically forces a character to join a faction if they want to participate in any sort of CRS based pk, which is where a lot of pk happens, in or around keeps. |

which begs the question: if you're really interested in being part of the CRS/helping your buddy cabal, why aren't you IN it? |

Alliances and loyalties shift. Anyways, the fact that the guardian attacks nonallied players who come through the portal is frustrating, but they can still come up through the front door. Or you could start making the group right whne the enemy hits your outer guardian, or when you suspect that they might hit it. |
