A fire elemental wipes its boots in the face of Inzaarid!
Inzaarid parries a fire elemental's natural attack!
Inzaarid pierces at a fire elemental's right finger, cutting it slightly.
A fire elemental's flaming bite slightly singes Inzaarid's chest.
Inzaarid pierces at your chest, smashing a small but painful wound.
Inzaarid misses you.

A stunted male halfling starts to concentrate.

A piquant male human walks in from northeast.

A piquant male human tries to taunt you. Maybe you should teach him a lesson?

Feature or Bug? The person who taunted me died, but I still couldn't move out of the room because I was still affected by the taunt of the person who died. I already finished off that smart aleck :/

It actually gives a ping/echo when the taunt wears off.
Goes something like "You feel level-headed again".

Edit: And it usually lasts about half a tick...I think.

Taunt wears off at the tick, much like dirt kick. Max taunt time is 1 tick, min is 0, average is half a tick. I still think that once the taunter dies/leaves room anyone should be able to leave the place, much like nimbus from BoG works(or is supposed to work).

A quite obvious bug, the "smart-aleck" died, the taunt affect should have left at that point.

Or let it slowly wear off, but add frenzy/fury affects to the aggravated/taunted :devil:

I have bug logged this in the game - Definately shouldn't be like this, you have settled the score with the person who taunted you...

More than one taunter is the most likely reason for your problem. I believe the Int affect lingers till the next tick similar to dirt kick. The can not flee ends with the leaving of the tauner (dead or running).

It's a bug. It actually affects bolt of glory as well. I'll have them both fixed at the next update.

I bug logged it in game, then saw this thread, so I'll just mention it though hopefully it's already known about:

Stunning the taunter doesn't stop the taunt affect either.

You should have it say this when the person is stunned or killed:

You feel great satifaction as that mouthy bastard get's what he deserves.
