You utter the words, 'uoculoihuyl'.
This is the claw of Lord Jurgen Von Vittorio, a medium adamantite weapon,
weighing approximately 2 lbs.  The weapon is a curved dagger.  It is of poor
quality and is worth approximately 10 silver.

Bug? It should propably apply to all the claws that are chopped off NPCs.

PS: I didn't have a vial to keep it and test it.
PPS: I know there is propably a bigger bug involved on how to get that item, but I consider it a feature
PPPS: Unholy lewt, woot! :D

using something you know to be a bug as a feature is a nicely put way to state that you abuse a bug, no?

I said it's propably a bug, more rather not enough planning from IMMs to make no transport all the rooms of an IMM-only area. Since they allow transport, I consider it a feature. An IC sign mentions it's propably a feature as well.

And you are off topic, see the text in the [code] tags.

Eh, if you know it's intended as no transport, it's kinda lame that you'd even go there to mess around. Especially when it's pretty much common knowledge that the area's being worked on. You could at least send whatever quirks you find to the Imms instead of posting it here for everyone to see unless you're just looking for pats on the back from the playerbase for getting into an area you shouldn't be in to start with. Just my opinion. Oh wells, hopefully whoever's in charge or has access to the area will fix it so their stuff isn't splayed all over the forums anymore til it's ready. *shrugs*

That aside, this does bring up a good point. Is it normal for claws that fall from corpses to be usable as a weapon? Never seen it before myself that I can recall.

Claws have been usable weapons for quite some time.

So have fangs.

I admit the text looks a little awkward in that identify, but it's not a bug. Claws are useable by people who have the wild fighting skill.

Now you actually need to experiment to see for yourself nxs.

I personally have formed my opinion on wild fighting weapons.

PS: @JavaMonkey: If I wanted a pat on the back I'd post parts of logs in fave quotes, not here.
PPS: Whoever IMM builds that lewt needs to be shot for placing certain flags on it. :(

I agree to what JavaMonkey said. If you *know* that the area is closed/worked on that you find yourself in by any means beside the help of an Immortal, get out of there asap or pray! It's not only unfair to spoil the joy of the surprise that the Immortal in question wants to make for the player base at the opening day, it is also quite dangerous. Unfinished scripts and NPCs may cause the MuD to crash if a player like you decides to mess around in there.

It is a construction site and you have nothing to do in there. IMO, this is even punishable.
