The sun-tanned female half elf is able to recite her scroll while tripped. Unless its a feature to keep people from taking the scroll I think its a bug.

I've always considered this a feature. There are still ways to get the scroll though.

NPCs are cheating. This is not the only case.

My bad. I never did a check in the script for her to check her current position. A noob mistake, really. If you bug log it, I think any of the Imms with five seconds of time on their hands can add something in the script to fix that.

Did you typo log it?

Well if we're on this subject that Matron Venturo NPC with the cause critical staff in Chyz'mmm brandishes while tripped or bashed. Might as well fix that too.

There are more than these two NPCs with such abilities, and I always considered them a feature since they are too easy to gank(because of their class). Nujiven when he has his staff comes to mind as well fast.

yes I did typo/bug log it, but its a wandering NPC, so I'm not sure whether of not it got noticed. I guess I agree with DA, a lot of NPCs are just too easy to kill with particular classes, so they make them with cheat scripts... makes sort of sense to me...

I guess while we're on the subject, is it a bug that slept uber NPCs still "Glow with energy" and allowed to cast 4 spells a round? Is it because it is connected with their adrenaline as a trigger? Anyway, I thought it should be connected here since both NPCs are "cheating" (i.e. casting spells/using skills under conditions that normally restrict it), or maybe these "spell-like abilities" as I'll call them, were designed to always work, even under nonsensical conditions. I've bug logged this before, and haven't checked since.
