Code: c summon peacekeeper
You start to concentrate. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Energetic/ 66%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] You utter the words, 'gjwwai'. A Peacekeeper sentinel arrives suddenly. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Lively/ 61%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] posit self f2 You move yourself to position (12:F2). [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Lively/ 61%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] You hear some noise echoing from somewhere else in the cavern. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Energetic/ 65%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] c protect You start to concentrate. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Energetic/ 65%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] You utter the words, 'sfainfrauai'. You are protected from good. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Lively/ 61%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] x sent They aren't here. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Lively/ 61%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] Several glowing embers crackle to the floor from your grip. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Lively/ 61%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] l A relaxing bath This room is the lap of luxury. Small wisps of steam rise from a pool large enough to fit several people in the center of the floor. Elaborate red carvings depicting multitudes of spiders line the obsidian tiled walls. Ringing the pool stand several ornate columns rising to the ceiling, each flanked by a wide flat bench, perfect for lying down and receiving a massage. A faint, but sweet smell wafts through the air, perhaps incense or scented oils... Obvious exits: e(closed) ( 6) A small cutting blade lies here on the ground, discarded. A small jade and glass stand holds pieces of fruit and refreshments. A shallow pool full of water is set into the ground here. XXX is here. (Charmed) A stately, heavy-framed camel glances around in dismay. A beautiful female deep-elf works here, soothing you with her fingertips. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Lively/ 61%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] blink You blink innocently. [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Lively/ 61%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] sayto thal Where'd he go? You ask to XXX 'Where'd he go?' [HP:Excellent/100%][ME:Lively/ 61%][PE:Fresh/100%] [G:zero][A relaxing bath] XXX blinks innocently. Peacekeeper was there and then not...but wasn't summoned out and the door didn't move... |

you had a tick between the summon and the protection, and maybe with your luck it was a reset tick? I thought some NPCs dissappear once you release charm or try to walk back home. Maybe the effect was extended to summoned NPCs as well. If we hear fepel or a second prominent sorc/priest start complaining I have a good theory of what's happening |

It's a law NPC. If a tribunal member had said sentinel in his group and somehow the sentinel was left behind(tired in wilderness, couldn't climb a mountain, couldn't swim a league, summoned away, anything to leave the same room), the NPC disappears after one tick. They usually try to move one room away and disappear, but since there was no way to move in this room, it just disappeared. |

partial no. NPCs WILL open doors that aren't locked to go back, but not when summoned. Yes, I remember that happening, if they are left not in the same room as the one ordering, they will pop back in a tick. However, this doesn't apply (last I checked) when you lead a law NPC (within a tribunal) outside its kingdom, it will say "my duties require me to leave you" and just sit there till someone kills him. |

If you take a law NPC out of a kingdom as a tribunal member it'll definitely make every effort to return. |

You are X, the Peacekeeper. NPC Y is in your group. If for some reason at the passing of a tick you are not in the same room as the NPC(and the NPC is NOT inside the area that it repops, Exile for this example), the NPC WILL dissapear. It will try to do a virtual "Y walks west"(or perhaps 2-3, as much as it has time to do till the tick) and then instantly dissapear. You can do a test if you want, take a law NPC outside and do a eject NPC; fol NPC. You will follow a NPC one room or two and then it will be gone. |

I know NPCs will basically auto destruct a few moments after crossing the border, if you have them in group, they will stop following you and then you'll get a member of your party has left your group or something like that. Just in this case the summoned NPC wasn't even in group to see this so he auto destructed and returned to Exile. |

I could have sworn they'll stay stranded at the edge of the kingdom, could be either faulty memory or recent change. I vote for that memory... oh, purdy smilies left of my screen! |

I was trying to get an item stuck on a legionarre, and was summoning them to Zhensh lands to off them. If I didn't kill them fast enough, even mid fight they would say "I must return to my post!" or something equally silly and then poof. Trib m0bs 4 t3h w1n! |

Bash may prevent them from self-destructing...at least having a tank to help kill them makes it go quick enough where they don't head out. |
