Post subject:  Bugged Container

This is a container of low level that can be bought in Elisair...

Quote:
examine cape
A pile of leather seems to have been thrown here.
A hooded cape of earth-tone colors is made of leather and size tiny.
When you look inside, you see:
A hooded cape of earth-tone colors contains:
Nothing.

It was in my inventory when I attempted this. The person who purchased it couldn't put anything in it so I tried as well. As you can see the shop lists it as a container.

This may not be related, but I've noticed that if you have two items of the same name, one of which is a container and the other which is not, neither will function as a container.

For example, I had two cloaks: an iridescent cloak (treasure item) and a elven cloak (container). Examining cloak and 2.cloak yielded "nothing here." Examining "elven" and examining "iridescent" yielded nothing as well. I could see the short descs, but not the container messages.

It was only when I dropped the iridescent cloak in another room and came back that I could examine and open the elven cloak.

Notice oyur container is tiny? Try typing 'put item container'. It will then give you a message to the effect of 'It can't fit'. When you type 'put all' it won't give you a response. The container is not bugged.

Coins are size tiny Gilgon. They wouldn't be too big to fit.

Edit:
He only had one of those items and none of his other items shared the words I tried to use when attempting to put things in the cape.

If it was just purchased it needs to be opened. ;)

Put all.X @container won't give you the "it is closed" message.

That would have said it was closed if it was.

Just copy paste us an example of typing 'put object bag' and see if it works, instead of all.

If you do that nothing fits in spite of size which would still mean there is a problem with the cape. It should be able to hold a couple of tiny sized copper coins. The weight it can hold would probably be the issue which is still something an IMM would need to fix, unless you know of a way to shrink coins smaller than tiny.
