It's one of those rare cases in SK, but I was mortally wounded in a field near Nerina.

When you're mortally wounded you can't do anything, can't quit, can't call for help, and in my case I couldn't die.

I layed in that fielded for almost an IC day.

Having places to goto, I finnally begged the Imms for live or death.

I was at -2 hp the whole time. I'm just wondering how I stayed alive that long, and if we should be able to still be able to "tell" when mortally wounded.

I actually think this is an incredibly important bug to fix, because it usually affects extremely new characters to the mud.

I remember when I -first- began playing the game my nerinan griffon (oh yeah) was mortally wounded until I prayed for help, and an imm fixed me - I had been mortally wounded for more than 10 minutes.

Not sure how difficult this one is, but IMO it should be a top priority.

Is this just a Griffon thing?

I had a similar experience when I was killed in an attack on Exile. What happened was by some chance, after I got the "You have just been killed" I was hit one more time. That put me at -1 hp and in a very interesting place in the game. I was a ghost that never went to the afterlife and even after reincarnating I was still at -1 hp and still couldn't move.

I was like that for more than three hours but it was also kinda morning when no one was on. And then an imm showed up and just healed me. Not a fun experience.

I'm going to try to fix this for the next patch.
