Code: A fire elemental slams into a noble male elf and sends him sprawling!
A fire elemental's bash knocks the wind out of a noble male elf. A fire elemental's flaming bite slightly singes a noble male elf's chest. A fire elemental's flaming bite barely burns a noble male elf's right arm. A fire elemental's flaming bite barely burns a noble male elf's head. A fire elemental is unaffected by a noble male elf's crush! A fire elemental is unaffected by a noble male elf's crush! [HP:100%] [ME: 97%] [PE:100%] > c magma nob You start to concentrate. Not to complain or anything, but I thought that fire elementals are not immune to mithril. He was wielding a viciously spiked flail. |

Its level, not material. If you could enchant a practice dagger to the right level, it'd hurt fire elementals. |

And I thought it was attack type, not material or level. Wonder what is the right answer.... A |

Level. There are some other NPCs that are unaffected by attack types though. |

There shouldn't be any NPCs that are immune to attack types since I believe a few years back Dulrik changed it just to be resistant to an attack type (IE it does less damage). As for fire elementals if the level of the weapon is too low it cannot harm the elemental. |

Level mainly, but sometimes also type. A fire elemental would not be affected at all by fire type weapons. As it is immune to all level 40 and below meelee weapons, including level 40 and below punches. |

Fytrysks and Arots are immune to bludgeoning weapons. Many NPCs have resistances/immunities to certain attack types and magic types. Play around with it, and have fun. |

Are you sure it is level 40, I am pretty sure I have damaged a fire elemental with lower level weapons. |
