Delleny stops following you.
Delleny walks east.
A furry panda walks east.

Alright, since she freed the panda, why is it still following her?

The last time I played a scout, something similar happened to me. The panda is probably not scripted to stop following after it is freed

Its a random bug that happens every once in a while. Its not really critical since the NPC isn't under control anymore and stops following if you do auto follow, or log off.

Except that you can do it with mountable pets. Say a hellion buys a nightmare mounts it, frees it, it still follows, then buys another. Now he had one he can stand behind and the one he is still riding.

See No. 6 of our rules. Bug exploitation will result in harsh punishments.

Uh. Unless the bug has changed since I played Leri (which was over a year ago, bug logged several times back then), there is absolutely nothing you can exploit with it. You are no longer grouped with the pet(s), they don't assist in battle, and I don't remember them as being mountable.

It was, however, amusing to have a small army of rodents marching after you. Made me want to get a pipe and claim I was from Hamelin.

All they do is follow you. They are out of your group. The worst someone can do with the non-pet that is following you is get others confused on which horse (random pet) to target. Isn't that big of a deal.
