I thought, if you typed Area All it would give all areas you can go and not just the areas you have discovered, or am I thinking of it wrong?

I think it gives you all areas within your level range?

[Nov to Jou] Scout's Encampment in Kingdom of Taslamar.
[Ama to Mas] The City of Exile in Kingdom of Taslamar.
[Ama to App] College of Combat in Domain of Uxmal.
[Ama to Gra] Menegroth in Empire of the Bright Star.
[Ama to Gra] The City of Teron in Domain of Uxmal.
[Nov to Vet] Library of Nerina in Land of Zhenshi.
[Ama to Mas] Nerina in Land of Zhenshi.
[Ama to Gra] Sith'a'niel in Ayamaoan Alliance.

Nope, I am an initiate and I am positive that Under Morea and the Outpost should be listed and yet they aren't. And each of theses place I have actually been to.

Edit: I seem to be reading with half an eye tonight. I just checked ICly and yes, it does seem like area alone only lists those areas you have already visited. Don't know if that is intended or not.

As another curiosity, I have all areas listed under discovered, familiar -and- seasoned? Yet I don't recall seeing any messages to that affect.

Alea, don't make me shoot you. Yes, they are all within range. That isn't my question. I thought area all listed all zones within your range. Not just the ones within your range and have been at.

Code:
help area
[Game help] areas

Syntax: areas all
        areas discovered
        areas familiar
        areas seasoned
        areas <kingdom>

The Areas command displays a list of areas in Shattered Kingdoms which
you will likely be able to visit and enjoy in relative comfort.  This is not
a guarantee of safety, as the unwary traveller may be caught by surprise at
any time.  There are a number of options to this command.

By entering the name of one of the 6 kingdoms, you may display a list of
only the areas that are located within that kingdom.  Valid kingdom names are
Ayamao, Empire, Krychire, Taslamar, Uxmal, Zhenshi, Deep and Outer.

You may also enter a keyword describing how familiar you are with an area.
- Discovered will display areas you have found but are otherwise new.
- Familiar displays areas where you have earned some measurable experience.
- Seasoned displays areas that you know quite well.
These categories equate to the information displayed by the worth command.

It worked perfectly (as far as I can tell from the update and help file) right after the update, but it is giving different information now. Areas discovered, familiar, seasoned, and area without argument, all now show the same information for me. Right after the update, area alone showed all the areas in range, and elsewise displayed appropriately with the various arguments.

This appears to be an unexpected side-affect in a change of how I compile the game code. I will have it fixed on the next reboot. If you know of any other features that seem to have changed or broken within the last week, please let me know.
