A part from a NPC group gank that happened yesterday, I just noticed that while confused bash was not lagging my character at all. Here is a part of the battle, not even full rounds, but still enough to show the bug or feature. Quote: You dodge a black-haired male human Volator's attack.
You dodge a black-haired male human Volator's attack. You dodge a hunchback male giant Volator's attack. You dodge a hunchback male giant Volator's attack. A long-armed male giant Volator slams into you and sends you sprawling! Your armor protects you from the physical affects of a long-armed male giant Volator's bash. A long-armed male giant Volator misses you. You dodge a long-armed male giant Volator's attack. You dodge a long-armed male giant Volator's attack. Overall, a black-haired male human Volator has quite a few wounds. [HP: 88%] [ME: 63%] [PE:100%] R: Along a Stretch of Rubble, Formerly Wexlan Boulevard > cl Senach utters the words, 'pzrryucandus'. You smell a hunchback male giant Volator's roasting flesh as Senach burns him with hellfire! [HP: 88%] [ME: 63%] [PE:100%] R: Along a Stretch of Rubble, Formerly Wexlan Boulevard > Senach starts to concentrate. [HP: 88%] [ME: 63%] [PE:100%] R: Along a Stretch of Rubble, Formerly Wexlan Boulevard > Jeruvere starts to concentrate. [HP: 88%] [ME: 63%] [PE:100%] R: Along a Stretch of Rubble, Formerly Wexlan Boulevard > ;Heal me. A heavy imperial warhorse beats at a black-haired male human Volator's left hand, ripping a small wound. A black-haired male human Volator dodges a heavy imperial warhorse's attack. You stop resting, and stand up. You feel a surge of aggression towards a dark-skinned male human Volator! Your freezing bite barely burns a hunchback male giant Volator's chest. Your freezing bite barely burns a hunchback male giant Volator's head. Your freezing bite lightly burns a hunchback male giant Volator's head. Senach slashes at a hunchback male giant Volator's right arm, tearing open a big bleeding wound! A large black horse charges at a black-haired male human Volator's chest, causing a gaping wound! A large black horse charges at a black-haired male human Volator's left leg, causing a sore wound. A large black horse charges at a black-haired male human Volator's stomach, barely wounding him. Your ancestral spirits manifest, but a black-haired male human Volator charges through them. A black-haired male human Volator's punch at your chest is deflected by a dark mithril hauberk. Your ancestral spirits manifest, but a black-haired male human Volator charges through them. A black-haired male human Volator's punch at your left leg is deflected by dark mithril greaves and leather leggings. A black-haired male human Volator misses you. A hunchback male giant Volator slams into you and sends you sprawling! Your armor protects you from the physical affects of a hunchback male giant Volator's bash. Your ancestral spirits rain curses upon a hunchback male giant Volator as he charges you. A hunchback male giant Volator pounds your right hand, ripping a small wound. Does confusion cancel bash lag? Is it just my eliteness? (yeah right ) Or is it a feature and meant to work this way? If it's a bug, fix it please. Keeping someone bashed and locked onto one target is a good way to avoid accidents during confusion. |

Confusion cancels bash lag and it also cancels trip lag. You'll also sometimes attack things while confused, even if those things have you charmed. You used to get all your attacks while confused even if you didn't have the pe for them, but you no longer do. I was using this feature to level on monks in the haven without fear. (get your pe down to 0% attack a monk and he confuses you, you can't move out of the room but you still get all your attacks..doesn't work any longer) |

Yah, but if you get that message then are you still lagged form it? I'm just remembering the time your centaur barb and my griffon barb spam bashed Ardiths merc over and over. Each round we got a bash each because he kept getting that message. I was just thinkign the bash didn't effect him so we didn't get lagged eigther. Look at the log if you still have it. |

This discussion has come up once, remember? Someone asked if it was a bug or feature when a bashed NPC changed target during 'lagged' rounds. I don't know if confusion effectively 'cancels' bash-lag, but the victim has been able to change targets unaffected by bash/trip/etc., where target at the time is random, due to the spell. |
