Why does this only notice one wight, and why won't it let me free my animated one?

Code:

carvings decorate the east wall. Activity fuses through the streets as lizard-
backed merchant trains wander through the ebon-skinned crowd. A large compound
rises to the east.
Obvious exits: s ne

There is no pet here by that name!

You can't use free for controlled, charmed or dominated creatures. I believe what you want to do is release the spell instead.

I think that he wanted to free the animated wight. Which happened to be 1.wight in the room, but for some reason the game wasn't able to see it and was seeing only the controlled blood wight.

It seems to me more like a targetting typo error on the animated wight, than a bug.

Please explain what you mean by this phrase. I see this as a bug.

For some reason the animated wight is not recognised with the "wight" keyword. That's why free 1.wight is like asking to free the controlled blood wight, and why 2.wight does not exist(since only the blood wight is recognised).

At least this seems logical to me after reading this log.

Perhaps someone can check the code about animating wights, to make sure the animated npcs have the "wight" as one of their keywords and there is not a typo.

PS: I'm too bored to do tests with my necro. :P

Uh, wight has been the only keyword I've ever used for wights. Even if wight is not a keyword for wight, that's a bug. But anyway, it may be related to the other bug of not being able to target a robe that you are wearing if there is a robe on the ground, etc etc. Just a suggestion

Well I was attempting to free my animated wight, not the blood wight. If you notice the mud was only noticing one of the wights and not both.

This is what I was wanting to see. But it seems for some odd reason one can't free an animated wight while having a controled blood wight within their command.

Code:
[HP: 100%] [ME:  12%] [PE: 100%] [Wealth: 3 platinum, 3 gold, 3 silver, 3 copper]
free wight
A wight wanders away from you, happy to be free.

Umm... Hello? Can you not read? The mud isn't noticing the animated wights as wights(Atlease while you have a blood wight under your control), thus you can't use the free command to let them leave. Yet for some odd reason you can free the animated wight if that is the only servant you have with you. The bug in question from my testings has to do with the blood wight being within your service.

PS: And to Mr. I think I know it all Ghent, your logic doesn't work either. If you have the blood wight land, and then leave to the next room with your animated wight and then try to free it, you get the same message, "It isn't able to leave you." So let the adults talk and go back to your hoarding, plzkthx.
