Originally made of a fine barre gray granite, it seems likely that only
that fact has allowed it to stand against the decaying swamp with only a few
stains on its surface. The apparently thick stone is set into the ground
masterfully disallowing entry to the slippery green algae that permeates the
area outside the walls. Loud drips and splashes echo and reverberate all
around giving the distinct impression that despite the receding water there
is more at work to keep these halls dry.

well as a few silver trinkets. A dark grey pallor covers the parts of his
body that aren't covered and even seems to spread into his scalp and facial
hair. From the looks of this man, he appears to have spent a great deal of
time below ground.

I was thinking that maybe someone was in the group with the acolyte that I couldn't see, but I backstabbed him easily enough, and it was just him I ended up fighting. Plus he started to concentrate twice in one round, I tripped him, and he still fired off a spell. Is this wrong or am I just ridiculous?
