You may advance to the next level.
You know this area like the back of your hand.

And seeing as you may advance to level 5, you have accumulated the five levels worth of xp before it enters the status of 'You know this area like the back of your hand'.

I thought the idea was to prevent newb grounds from dropping to anything worse than familiar, seeing as how you need to train skills and spells as an amature.

maybe it only applies to the amateur part of the teron section, not the novice part since most towns only have amateur areas.

It looks like you've super stacked the levels, actually. That would cause you to technically be past the newb status and be able to grow overly familiar with the area. I think this means that if you leave the newb area to level, the worse you can become is familiar, and the code applies to the character rather than the area.

Then again, this is only a guess.

I'm fairly sure this is correct.

by the way, this is from the 'amature' section.

You are over three-fourths of the way to the next level.
You know this area like the back of your hand.

The Tiny Barracks

Basically, I know the entire arena like the back of my hand, and I thought this was not supposed to happen.
